 After a run-in period during the 1984 season, the 962 proved to be as superior in the IMSA Championship as the 956 was on the other side of the Atlantic. Among other things, the model won the series' most important Daytona 24-hour competition five times between 1985 and 1991 and took home the championship title four years in a row between 1985 and 1988.
 
 Bengt Lindström, 1925-2008, internationally known Swedish artist. Operated in Paris from 1948.
 The lithograph was made for Slim Borgudd's and Tryggve Grönvall's participation in Le Mans 1986.
